We aim to make a positive difference to the communities in which we work, to support and encourage sustainable community regeneration and to leave a positive legacy long after our projects have been delivered. We work closely with the local community, community partners and our clients to improve neighbourhoods and lives by creating bespoke packages of initiatives that link directly to the objectives of our partners’ social agendas.
Some of the ways in which we do this include:
In 2009, 12,000 children and young people benefited from a United House event or initiative. In the same year our staff spent almost 5,000 hours supporting community initiatives, and the total sum donated through sponsorship, fundraising, donations, works completed free of charge and staff time amounted to £371,000.
"I think it is wonderful to come across a company, in a day and age which is so commerciallly driven, that has, at its core, such a strong sense of social responsibility."
Caroline Guarnaccia, CEO, The Baytree Centre
