Founded in 1964 and still an independent company, the United House Group has enjoyed continuous growth and is now one of the leading specialist housing construction companies, operating throughout London and the southeast of England. Although social housing remains at the heart our business, we have undergone radical development throughout the last 40 plus years, enabling us to anticipate and work with the many new challenges facing our industry.

United House is proud to have been responsible for many industry 'firsts' including:

• Taking the lead in resident focus by establishing the first Resident Liaison programme.
• Taking the lead partner role on the UK's first housing Private Finance Initiative (PFI) to start on site.
• Forming the first strategic partnership with a local authority.
• Development of the four-day kitchen, bathroom and rewiring refurbishment package in the 1970s.

Not only is social housing at the heart of our business, we are also at the heart of social housing through our active involvement in key consultation groups including the influential Housing Forum.
