Kirby Street United
House acquired a sub -standard 1950's office block in Kirby St EC1,
situated in the former gardens of historic Hatton House , which gave
its name to London's famous jewellery district. United House obtained
consent to demolish the office block and construct a new building
comprising 21 flats on six upper floors with a retail unit on the
ground floor and a basement workshop. The reinforced concrete framed
building was developed for Network H.A. and the affordable accommodation
provided included units for families and disabled users. |
