Becontree
Estate - Barking and Dagenham Following a pilot scheme involving the installation of 100 central heating systems and hot water services, a negotiated contract for installation in a further 600 properties was awarded. Individual equipment packages are put together and stored at United House's Swanley warehouse to maximise efficiency and minimise disruption for residents who remain in situ. |

Lansdowne Green Phase 4 - Horizon Housing Group Installation of gas central heating systems to 400 dwellings and a further 200 partial systems. A service contract for the heating systems that were not replaced was also awarded. Lansdowne Green Maintenance Contract - Horizon Housing Group Service and responsive repair contract including gas safety checks to approximately 600 heating systems on the Lansdowne Green Estate. Systems were installed by United House and 24 hour, 7 days a week emergency cover provided. |

St Martins Estate - St Martins Community Partnership Installation of gas central heating systems and associated works to approximately 900 dwellings. All dwellings were occupied throughout the works and United House Resident Liaison Officers were on site to ensure the smooth running of the contract and ensure our Considerate Contractors Charter was adhered to. |

Peabody Volume Heating Programme A complete design, resident consultation, management and installation package for 5000 central heating units across 72 London estates, each with between 12 and 900 properties. Each installation is completed within five days and all services reconnected at the end of each day. The package is completed by three year warranty annual servicing and full maintenance cover, supported by a computerised database that records details of each installation and its maintenance history. This £8 million scheme is now in its eighth year. |

Strawberry Vale - Peabody Trust The existing central boiler plant and heating distribution system was overhauled and refurbished. The system, including all radiators, was flushed and cleaned and pumps and pressurisation units in the plant room were replaced. |

Thames Heating Installation Term Contract - Thames HA Central heating installations to scattered properties (Victorian and Edwardian houses converted into flats) in South West London and Croydon. When a flat becomes void, heating must be installed within two weeks, occupied dwellings are completed within eight weeks. United House is responsible for survey/design and Resident liaison. |
