Description

To thank residents for their cooperation, United House invited residents to a day of fun to celebrate the completion of the first phase of works.

The event took place on Wednesday 01 June and provided a free day out for the families that live in Colne and Mersea Houses and the surrounding area.

Over 300 residents enjoyed the fun-packed day and events which included a petting farm, face painting, DJ, party games, circus skills and a BBQ.

The sun shone, orange juice was on tap and the site team and volunteers from our head office cooked over 600 sausages and burgers.

Resident Liaison Officer Sue Du Plooy said “On my visits to the properties the following day, the funday was the talk of the blocks, the residents were buzzing about it and want to know if they can
have one every month? This has been a trying time for the residents over the last six months but they will remember the fun they had with fond memories.”
